Lars Marius GarsholLars Marius Garshol, Bouvet ASA
Lars Marius Garshol has worked with Topic Maps since 1999. He is CTO of Ontopia, and editor of several of the Topic Maps ISO standards (TMDM, TMQL and XTM 2.0). He has also been active as an XML open source developer, wrote the book Definitive XML Application Development, and is responsible for the Unicode support in the Opera web browser.

Axel Borge leder avdelingen for Integrasjon og søk i Bouvet, og har jobbet som løsningsarkitekt og fagansvarlig for Microsoft teknologi i Bouvet ASA siden 2003. Hovedfokuset har vært løsninger knyttet til SharePoint, semantisk teknologi og dokumenthåndtering. Han har vært involvert i de mange av de største SharePoint prosjektene i Norge de siste årene. Axel har jobbet i 19 år med Microsoft-plattformen, som utvikler, løsningsarkitekt og konsulent.

He works with development of web publishing systems based on Topic Maps, with emphasis on interoperability of educational web sites and e-learning. He is also project leader of and contributer to several Open Source projects. His formal background is a Dipl. Inf. degree in computer science from the University of Tübingen, Germany, where he specialized in databases and information systems.

Benjamin BockBenjamin Bock, researcher - University of Leipzig
Benjamin Bock is a researcher of semantic technologies with special interest in data integration at the Topic Maps Lab at the University of Leipzig Germany. As an expert invited by the ISO he represents Germany in the further development of the Topic Maps international industry standards family. Furthermore he’s using Ruby on Rails to websites with joy instead of hassle.

Thomas Efer holds a degree in telecommunication informatics and is currently completing his master's studies of computer science at the University of Leipzig Germany. As a student research assistant at the Topic Maps Lab he focuses on web data integration as well as the extraction of semantics from texts and semi-structured data sources, employing recent Topic Maps technology.

Graham Moore is the founder of NetworkedPlanet. He is co-editor of the XTM 1.0 XML Topic Maps standard and IS013250-1 and IS013250-2 (Topic Map Data Model and Syntax), he is also co-editor of TMCL (Topic Map Constraint Language). Graham has worked for 8 years in the areas of information, content and knowledge management as a developer, researcher and consultant. He has held leading roles as CTO of STEP, Vice President Research & Development empolis GmbH and Chief Scientist Ontopia AS. He has been responsible for the development of knowledge management products including K42 Topic Map Engine, X2X Link Management Engine and e:kms knowledge suite.
