This 5-day course is aimed at Test Managers wishing to attain a higher qualification in software testing from the ISTQB Foundation Certificate. The structure of this course is a 2-day "core module" which has been designed to apply for all advanced qualifications, followed by a 3-day "test management module". This provides flexibility, cost effectiveness and time efficiency for both delegates and companies.The ISTQB Advanced Test Manager course builds upon the ISTQB Foundation Course and provides essential skills for the Test Manger for their day-to-day work.

• The ISTQB Advanced Core Module 2-day course is a pre requisite for anyone wishing to attend the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager module, ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst module or ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst module. It provides essential common information needed to progress to one of the ISTQB advanced qualifications. Topics such as the different software lifecycles, test process, incidents, risk based testing, reviews and tools are covered.
   
• The ISTQB Advanced Test Manager Module 3-day course focuses specifically on test management issues such as test policies, test strategies, test plans, test estimation, test monitoring and control, measuring the value of testing, test improvement, the use of standards and people issues in software testing.
   
• This course is highly practical and laptops/pcs are encouraged in the use of utilities and spreadsheets to assist the test manager in monitoring and measuring testing.
   
• The course has been accredited by ISEB and contains exercises, practice exams and games to highlight key aspects of the syllabus to assist the delegate in the understanding of the concepts and methods presented.
   
• The ISTQB Advanced Test Manager exam is a 3-hour, 65 question scenario-based multiple choice exam. The pass mark is 65% and you must hold the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in order to take this exam.
