This talk addresses the crossroads between software engineering and the complexity sciences and exposes a gap that can be addressed by a new kind of software architecture. The talk will introduce new ideas, techniques and approaches that move architecture toward a more solid, practical base in the modern world whilst strengthening architecture’s scientific foundations.
